This mid-range smoker is manufactured by Masterbuilt which has been in the business of building quality and affordable cooking products since 1973 – that’s over 40 years! So, you can probably guess that its going to be pretty good – and you would be right! Its not the cheapest model I’ve reviewed but, for the discerning pit enthusiast, its pretty much a must have box. Lets take a closer look.

So, if you are looking for one of the best electric smokers available, this is definitely one to consider! It is slightly more expensive than the Masterbuilt 20070910 smoker that I reviewed earlier but it has a window and a remote control which can make monitoring the temperature of your smoker so much easier and stress free so, in my opinion its worth dropping the extra cash on.

Its a sturdy beast as well. Measuring 18.5 by 19.5 by 33 inches, this smoker may be slightly smaller than the 20070910 model but it actually provides more smoking space at an impressive 2 cubic feet compared to the 20070910 model which only has 1.7 cubic feet available.

It comes with 4 chrome-coated smoking racks and a built-in meat thermometer which faithfully monitor the temperature inside the smoker so that you don’t have to open the door every time when you need to check the temperature inside. One thing that always frustrates me with cheaper smokers is how most of them have a tiny door in front that makes it very difficult for people with large hands (like me) to reload chips without burning themselves! Happily, there are no issues with this model!

Features
